MEDIATION SERVICES

Meet Dr. Drew Fockler

Mediation services are a method of alternative dispute resolution that help parties in conflict reach a mutually agreed-upon solution with the assistance of a neutral third party, known as a mediator. The mediator facilitates communication and guides the parties through the negotiation process. Mediation is commonly used in various areas, including fworkplace conflicts.
The benefits of mediation services include its voluntary nature, confidentiality, cost-effectiveness, and the opportunity for parties to have control over the outcome. Mediation often fosters a more amicable and collaborative environment compared to traditional litigation, as it promotes open dialogue and understanding between the disputing parties. The mediator does not impose a decision but rather helps the parties explore possible solutions and find common ground. While the specific duration of mediation can vary depending on the complexity of the conflict, it typically takes a few sessions lasting a couple of hours each.
